Rules/Submission Guidelines

All pets should be rescue animals. Photos should be of good quality and of high resolution. High resolution photos are required for the calendar. Photo entries of low quality/resolution my be requested to be replaced by a higher quality photo for the calendar. Low quality photos not replaced on request or in a timely manner (2 weeks or less)may be printed in the calendar as submitted and may be blurry or at our discretion replaced by another entrants photo. No Stock photos will be accepted.

Entries can be of any type of pet!

Pets do not have to be adopted from Krewe de Rescue, but should be a rescue pet.

Entries can be photos containing one or more animals, but NO HUMANS should be in the photos. You may enter multiple pets, each receiving their own votes.

If you enter a photo of the same pet one or more times using different pictures, only one photo can be a winning entry.

Krewe de Rescue reserves the right to remove any photo that do not meet our guidelines or is deemed inappropriate by us. No refunds will be given on submitted photos or donations for voting.

All rights to photos will be subject to the contest privacy and usage policies as seen on the privacy policy notification on this site. All entries become the property of Krewe de Rescue to be used in our calendar, contest, or other marketing materials. Such as; but not limited to social media as we see fit.

Krewe de Rescue volunteers, fosters, previous adopters, and supporters are allowed entry into the contest as Krewe de Rescue does not pick the winners. The winners are picked by public votes and are determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GOGO Photo Contest, Whose decisions are final and binding.

All proceeds will go toward vetting, care of the animals, and community projects with Krewe de Rescue.

(Disclaimer: If participation does not meet the requirements to cover the cost of prizes and printing of calendars, the contest may be re-opened at a later date, or canceled. Entry fees, votes, and calendar date reserve fees may be partially refunded (minus processing fees from the contest and payment companies), or considered a donation at the discretion of Krewe.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  Thank you for your understanding, and  for your continued support of Krewe de Rescue.)
