Short Story About Pet's Rescue
One of the worst cases of red mange that Wags and Whiskers has ever seen, her original name was Nyla. She is a flat-coated retriever mixed with border collie and perhaps others. She had a bad case of rickets, causing deformed hip sockets, knee and elbow joints. She had an old tailbone break as well. They saved her, and I adopted her asap. She hobbles and limps, but lets nothing slow her down. One of the most empathic and sweetest dogs I’ve ever met, she especially loves my fiancé and children and seniors and cats and treats! She is truly happiest to just be with people, and she loves a good game of tug of war or keep away. She still gets scared of unknown loud vehicles, but hoping that will mellow with time. Thank you Wags and Whiskers for not giving up on her! She is loving her life!
