Welcome to Mutt Madness, KodiakCare’s fun-filled, free-to-enter, highly furry and cute canine version of March Madness! Enter your pup for a chance to win prizes and be voted the Mutt Madness Champion, all while raising money for life-saving veterinary care for dogs and families in need.
All votes are donations to KodiakCare! KodiakCare is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping dogs and families in need. KodiakCare funds life-saving veterinary care for dogs whose families lack financial means. Thank you

Game Play!
Starting now, you can create a profile account here for free by uploading a photo of your pup and sharing why he or she should be voted the Mutt Madness Champion. Then invite friends, family, and all of your fur baby’s fans to cast their ballots for your dog by purchasing votes – $1 per vote, $5 minimum. As your dog receives more votes, he or she moves up the leaderboard.
There is no entry fee! Profiles and dog photos can be submitted for free!
The first 100 dogs to register will receive a free KodiakCare Mutt Madness sticker, an Embrace Pet Insurance bandana.
Mutt Madness is a tournament consisting of 7 contests. The first contest runs for 5 days, with each contest thereafter running for two days. At the close of each contest, the dogs with the most votes will be confirmed as finalists. The number of finalists is determined by the contest. For example, the first contest will have 64 finalists: the 64 dogs with the highest number of votes are the winners. The second contest will have 32 finalists: the 32 dogs with the highest number of votes are the winners. The number of finalists will be reduced by half with each subsequent contest, with the final Championship Contest having just one winner: The Mutt Madness Champion.
At the close of each contest, the winners will be confirmed and the next contest will begin.
Finalists will receive an email confirming their win of that contest.
Prizes will be mailed within two weeks of the completion of the tournament.
Tips to Help Your Pup Become the Mutt Madness Champion!
We encourage you to share your contest page link with family and friends through email and social media, encouraging them to vote and help you secure a spot at the top for your dog. Remember: every vote generated is money for dogs in need of critical care.
Keep an eye out for challenges throughout the competition that will allow you to earn additional votes!
The Fine Print
- Only 1 dog per photo submission.
- Photos are to be of dogs
only, people are not allowed in the photo.
- Photos must either feature dogs owned by the entrant OR the entrant must have permission from the dog's owner to submit their dog's image.
- Photos must either have been personally taken by the entrant submitting it or the entrant submitting must have the photographer's express permission to use/submit.
- We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and request an appropriate replacement.
- Once uploaded, photo submissions become the property of KodiakCare to be used at its discretion for print and marketing purposes.
- Each vote is $1, minimum $5. There is no limit to the number of times a person can vote.
- In the case that two dogs have the same number of votes, the dog that was registered for Mutt Madness first will be ranked ahead of the other.
- Online entries must be submitted before March 24th at 7:45pm EST
- Prizes will be confirmed for the dogs that place as finalists at the end of the voting period for each contest. Prizes will be mailed within two weeks of the completion of the tournament.
- All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. All donations are final and non-refundable.
