Ollie
Why should your dog be the "Mutt Madness Champion"?
Ollie is a perfect example of offering a dog with major medical issues a chance at life. And, he appreciates every day by showing happiness and love. He was adopted, arriving from Puerto Rico. So cute, about six months old. Very soon realized his limp was from a broken foot that had not receive medical attention. It was twisted so he was walking on bone. Surgery to remove a digit and a paw pad transplant fixed the issue. Then came knee surgery due to a luxating patella. Most recently, (now 12) he has had a great recovery from a stroke. PT has helped him regain strength in his hind legs and overcome other stroke issues. Through this ordeal, Ollie is still a very happy, kind and loving dog, with a great appreciation for living. All dogs with medical issues deserve a chance to live a happy and long life.
