Bella is a rescue dog. I got her in California in 2012. She was 11 months old, 102 lbs. She had "papers" as she is a hybrid St. Dane (a Great Dane/St Bernard Hybrid). The original owner (who paid to have her bred) decided they "didn't want a big dog after all" and left her at the SPCA.
Bella had been returned after that at least twice for "destructive behavior" (normal big dog teething combined with the norm for frequently dumped dogs, separation anxiety).
Bella is wonderful. A gentle giant. She loves walks, swimming, playing. She's great with children, dogs and cats. Pure love.
