Jade was rescued from the Raleigh County Kill Shelter by an organization located in Beckley called Operation Underdog. I lived alone with my son at the time, and was concerned about home protection but didn't want to arm myself. So I decided to invest in an intimidating animal to ward off potential prowlers and burglars. Jade was posted on petfinder.com and the moment I saw her face I was hooked-line and sinker!! She spent 8 months prior to coming to live with me in foster care after being nursed back to health by OpUn. It was my fate to find her and bring her home to live with us. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, but she is even more beautiful in spirit, love, and loyalty. Hands down, my Jade is the best dog I could have ever asked for!
