Patch came to my house directly from the KCHA shelter. He was in bad shape and had been picked up on the streets, covered with fleas and decimated, rotten teeth and defeated. I do Dachshund Rescue and was contacted about his situation. I picked him up and was told to just take him because he won't last long. That was four years ago. He never left my rescue because he needs special care and he quickly wormed his way into my heart with his sweet personality and his habit of giving "hugs". Patch wants to help other shelter dogs have a great life too and hopes you will help by voting for whichever dog you like.
