How do I vote for a pet's picture?Votes are $1 each. All votes are tax-deductible. You can vote online, via mail or in-person. Keep an eye out for entry and voting promotions throughout the contest.
How to vote by mail:Make your check payable to JCAPS. Include a note with the check stating the pet's name and owner's name, and that you wish to apply your donation toward votes for them in the Pet Photo Contest. Please also include your phone number in case we have any questions.

Can I vote for my own pet's picture?Yes, we actually encourage you to vote as many times as you and your friends and family want throughout the month! The more votes we acquire, the higher the rewards will be for our top 3 prize winners!
How many votes do I need to have my pet featured on a certain month?The pet with the most overall votes will get to pick which month they are featured. To ensure your pet gets the most votes, it is important to check the leaderboard and
Facebook page regularly.
When does voting close?Voting closes at 11:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
How do I know if I won?You can also check the leaderboards to see how well your pet is doing. Remember, only the top 12 pets will be the models for our calendar.
Will my pet still be in the calendar if I do not make it into the top 12?We will have a collage page this year, so there is a chance your pet may still earn a spot depending on the quality of your photo entry. You also have the option of placing your pet on a particular day of the month within the calendar for a $5 donation.
When will I receive my calendar?Pre-orders will be taken during this contest or at A Pet's Tale in Jackson, MN.
Calendars can be picked up at A Pet's Tale in November or December of 2022.
