It Takes a Village Pet of the Year Photo Contest – Official Rules

1. Eligibility:
   • The contest is open to all pet owners. Any type of pet (dog, cat, rabbit, bird, etc.) is eligible.
   • Contestants must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
   • Only one photo submission per pet.
     
     
2. How to Enter:
   • Submit one clear, high-quality photo of your pet, along with their name.
   • The submission fee is $25, which must be paid at the time of submission.
   • Photos must be submitted online at GoGo Photo between 12:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Monday, January 20, 2025 and 11:59:59 PM (Central Time) on Friday, January 31, 2025. Submissions after this period will not be accepted.
   • Only one submission per pet is allowed.
     
     
3. Voting:
   • Voting will take place online at GoGo Photo.
   • Each vote will cost $1. Voters can cast as many votes as they wish for any pet entry.
   • The pet with the most votes at the end of the contest period will be declared the winner.
   • Voting will take place beginning at 12:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Saturday, February 1, 2025 and will end at 11:59:59 PM (Central Time) on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
     
     
4. Photo Guidelines:
   • Photos must clearly show the pet and be appropriate for all audiences.
   • Creativity is encouraged! You may submit a portrait, action shot, or any photo that best represents your pet’s personality.
   • Photos that are blurry, offensive, or irrelevant will be disqualified.
     
     
5. Winner Selection:
   • The winner will be the pet with the most votes by the end of the voting period.
   • The winner will be announced on February 14. 2025
     
     
6. Publicity:
   • By submitting an entry, participants grant the organizers permission to use the submitted photo for promotional purposes without compensation.
   • The winner may be asked to share their pet’s story for additional promotion.
     
     
7. No Refunds:
   • The submission fee is non-refundable, even if the entry is not selected as the winner.
     
     
8. Privacy:
   • All personal information submitted for the contest will be kept confidential and used only for purposes related to the contest.
     
     
9. Disqualification:
   • Entries that do not meet the above requirements or are submitted after the contest period ends will be disqualified.
   • Any inappropriate or offensive content will lead to immediate disqualification.
     
     
10. Limitation of Liability:
    • By entering the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless the contest organizers, sponsors, and judges from any and all liability, including personal injury or property damage, that may arise from participation in the contest or use of the prize.
