In honor of Earth Day, Aveda sets aside a whole month to love, celebrate and raise funds to protect the earth and its people. Since 1999, thanks to the passion of the Aveda Network and their guests, they have raised more than $38 million to help support organizations that directly affect environmental change. Hoosier Environmental Council is fortunate to partner with Aveda in Indiana.

The Aveda Indianapolis – Catwalk for Clean Water helps create awareness of water quality issues in Indiana and 100% of all proceeds benefit HEC. This year's event showcased the talents of our local Aveda salon and spa network in a close-up look at hair, make-up and fashion.

HEC is the voice of the people for the environment in Indiana. We work hard to advocate for new laws and regulations that will ensure better water quality, while educating Hoosiers how, together, we can make Indiana a better place to live, breathe, work and play.
