Two IHS adoptees, now best buddies! Thor was adopted November 2013 and was an only dog until July 2016 when we adopted Ellie. Ellie was part of a litter of eight puppies whose (very pregnant) mother was abandoned at a Boise park earlier in the summer. A great foster parent took the mother in, littered the pups, and adopted them back out at the IHS. As you can see by the smile on Thor's face, he's ecstatic to have a little sister - and we're ecstatic that we were able to give little Ellie a home.
