I adopted Chip from ICARE about five and half years ago. He was a stray that was found on a college campus in Compton, CA. When the students tried to approach him he was frightened. They finally offer him potato chips and he finally came to them. His foster parents named him Chip because of his rescue story. Chip is now well socialized and loves people and dogs. I often thought that Chip ran away before he was abused. However after a skeleton ex-ray it was revealed that Chip was shot a couple of times by a BB gun.

Chip now is very secure in his home. Nowadays when I return home from errands Chip remains in his bed wagging his tail to greet me without running to the door. He now knows I will always return. At home he is my shadow who always wants to play!
