- The donation entry fee is $10 per photo. Participants can enter as many photos as they want but each photo has a separate entry fee.
- Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast for the duration of the contest. You may vote for your own photo. Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends August 23, at 10 p.m. ET.
- When you purchase your "votes" you are supporting our Husky House adoptables.
- As this fundraiser benefits our adoptables, donation entry fees and votes are non-refundable.
- The calendar cover is Husky House judge's choice. All photos entered will have a chance at winning the calendar cover, regardless of the number of votes received. Highest number of votes DOES NOT guarantee cover placement.
- Photo entries must be high resolution for printing purposes (300 dpi or higher). Photos not meeting these criteria may be rejected or you may be asked for a different, higher resolution entry. If you are taking photos with your phone, please be sure to capture your image at the highest possible setting in order to meet resolution criteria.
- NO BLURRY CELL PHONE ENTRIES!
- People are NOT allowed in photos. Other pets (even cats) may join in the fun, but there must be at least 1 HUSKY HOUSE DOG (alumni, adoptable, etc.) in each photo.
- For Husky House Alumni, please include their name(s) and year(s) adopted.
- Multiple dogs are allowed in one photo.
- We strongly recommend that all photo submissions are digital, as images of printed photos, screenshots and polaroids are unlikely to be high enough quality to be reproduced in the calendar.
- We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo stickers, logos, doodles, digital effects or any copyrighted photos.
- Once entered, photo submissions become property of Husky House and are subject to editing as the designer sees fit for the calendar layout. Examples are, but NOT limited to, cropping, color correcting, etc.
- Husky House reserves the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you to obtain an appropriate replacement photo. If a replacement photo cannot be obtained in a timely manner, Husky House reserves the right to choose another winner.
- Husky House has final approval on all photos submitted and reserves the right to replace a pet’s photograph to overcome production issues.
- All entries and votes must be submitted by the deadlines listed in order to be included in the final vote count. The submission and voting periods begin on August 9, 2019, at 8 a.m. ET, and ends August 23, 2019, at 10 p.m. ET.
- Winners will be announced shortly after on the Husky House Facebook page and gogophotocontest.com. Winners will also be contacted by email. To ensure you have received our email, please check all folders, including spam.
- It is helpful if you use a special toy or treat to get your pet(s) to look at the camera. Remember, it may take a few shots to get that perfect picture, so start clicking!
- Please remember to keep photo backgrounds neat and clean.
