Your Pet's Story or Bio
Aska and Juneau are both rescues. Aska, who is mostly Siberian Husky but may also be part White Shepherd, was a stray that was saved from euthanasia by Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue and adopted in March of 2013. Juneau is a full red/white Siberian Husky and was an owner neglect case. She was saved by Husky Haven of Florida last year and adopted in April of 2013. Aska has some manageable health issues and is living a charmed existence as a snugly 65 pound lap dog. Juneau regularly pulls scooters (her favorite thing in the world) and acts as an ambassador for Husky Haven of Florida, for which her mom now volunteers. Both love people, kids, other dogs (of all kinds), playing and squeaky toys. When not being mischievous little monkeys, they can be found napping on their Mom's bed (she's given up trying to keep them off).
