Jasper (black/white) was our first Husky, and when I picked him out of the litter, he fit in the palm of my hand. He grew to 100 pounds, thought he was a lap dog, howled at the Jeaopardy theme song, and was a great protector (yes, a rare Husky guard dog). As Jasper was getting on in years, we adopted Lucky (red/white) from the SPCA. He was a rescue from Hurricane Ike, and was very skiddish. It took several weeks for him to warm up to us. Eventually, Lucky was very playful and leaped around excitedly. Both Jasper and Lucky have crossed the rainbow bridge, and we really miss them!
