Pet's Story or Bio
Duke was found wandering deep in the North Carolina woods when he was rescued and brought into an animal shelter. He was in bad shape and turned out to have heart worms disease. Our family came across Duke's photo on the local animal shelter's website and saw he was listed as "code red" meaning he had 24 hours to find a home or he would be put to sleep. It was love at first sight and Duke has ever since been a member of our family. He is now a happy, healthy big baby.
