Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Ozzie from HSTB nearly 4 years ago. He had already been returned once because he wasn't a good match for the family who had adopted him. I happened to be volunteering there the day he was returned. Although I had seen him there before he was adopted the first time, I did not spend much time with him because he was undergoing treatment for heartworms. I felt so bad seeing him returned, and I spent a lot of time cuddling with him that day. When I tried to put him back in his cage, he used all 9 pounds of his body weight to lean into me and avoid being put back. I thought about him all the next 2 days, and finally I went back to make him a part of our family. Now he is my cuddle buddy every single day!
