Pet's Story or Bio
Meet TD, our almost-14-year-old terrier mix, who we adopted him from HSTB 12 years ago. After successfully winning a doggy gift basket in a silent auction--even though we didn't own a dog at the time--we visited HSTB and discovered this wonderful 4-legged furball. Timmy/Sarge had been adopted from and returned to HSTB twice already, through no fault of his own, and like they say, the third time is a charm! Within 5 minutes of meeting him, he was already ours, and I knew his failed adoptions happened because he was just waiting for us to become his fur-ever home! Because we hoped he'd "choose" our 8-year-old son Troy as "his person" in our family, we named him TD, for Troy's Dog. But he's pure mama's boy... and I wouldn't have it any other way. He's been the perfect dog for us and although he's slowing down with age, he's quick to defend our yard from squirrels and lizards and is a great big brother to our 3-year-old terrier mix Toby, who was also adopted from HSTB.
