I had no intention of adopting a dog from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay when I entered the building. I figured I would look around and just waste some time. Then I spotted him, 3 pounds of pure happiness! I knew I just had to have him!

I adopted my puppy, Oakley, from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay in 2012, and it has most certainly been the best three years of my life. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell pup is the most laid-back, loving, and dependable dog I’ve ever met in my life. Rescue dogs really are the best!
