A little about me...
Porter was a rescue dog. We got him at 7 months old. The following is true- Sharon Altman and I took him to the Great American Teach -in , and we visited 2 classes. At the 2nd class, this sweet female student petted him and came up to me and said thank you so much for bringing him. Afterwards, her teacher came up to us and said that she came from Cuba, and for the 2 years that she has been here, she was nonverbal and had not spoken until now! It was amazing that our sweet boy had this effect on her! What a great feeling!
