A little about me...
The moment I saw the Humane Society’s video of Laila, I knew I would be taking her home. It would be hard to imagine a sweeter, gentler dog. She put her head in my lap and fell asleep the second day she was home. Laila loves to sleep and stretch and yawn. She also loves playing with her stuffed animals (when she is awake). All of her stuffed animals, including the one she came home with, are still intact and like new because she is so gentle with them. Her latest stuffed animal is a teddy bear which she promptly took to her bed, cuddled up and fell asleep with. Everything is so easy with Laila, even when I'm taking her to the vet, she leads me to the car on her leash and hops up on the passenger’s seat floorboard. She then stays there the entire trip looking up at me. I didn’t think I wanted another dog at my age with all the work (and love) that goes into caring for them, but my Laila is a special blessing and I am so glad she has found her forever home!
