A little about me...
BillyBob was adopted from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay on January 23, 2024. We wanted a friend and companion for our 4-year-old cat, Emmie. Oddly enough, both Emmie and BillyBob were born on November 14, so they share the same birthday. It seems like a match made in kitty heaven. BillyBob's adoption weight was only two and a half pounds but now at 7 months, he is a healthy eight pounds with very long legs and tail.

From the day we met him, he enjoyed crawling up on our shoulders for kisses. He nibbles and licks our ears and is super friendly to all visitors. Emmie is enjoying his company and keeps him in his place when he is rowdy, as he is still an active kitten.

He quickly learned his name and the word, "UP". He stands on his hind legs and now can reach beyond my waist to be picked up. He loves to hear "GOOD BOY" and comes running for praise. He enjoys jumping from the cat tree to the top of the bookcases but when I say, "BillyBob down" he jumps down and comes running. We're still working on "NO". He understands "FETCH" and drops his shiny crackly ball on my lap for me to toss so he can bring it back again.

He loves to find new objects to carry around in his mouth. If the object is too heavy, he will drag it while walking backwards. (He pulled a shoe by its shoelace for several feet). As you can see from the picture, when he's down for a nap, he knows how to relax. He makes us laugh and is a real joy in our lives.
