Pet's Story or Bio
Hi there! My name is Penny Lane, and I'm an alumna of the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. My two amazing moms found me there in June of 2018, and instantly fell in love with me. They saw how kind and gentle I was when I put my front paws up on the kennel and licked their hands.

Unfortunately, I was also emaciated, shaved down, and even had a cough since my time as a stray pup left me in a tough spot. I was only 17 pounds when my moms adopted me, but now I weigh 21 pounds! Wow!

My fur is long, fuzzy, and soft, and I thank my American Eskimo ancestors for that! The miniature schnauzer is responsible for my gray-tipped ears and the dark gray hairs peppered in with the fur on my back.

I love learning new tricks! I know how to sit, lay down, shake, high-five, dance, stay, and leave it! I also enjoy sprinting and leaping through the yard, and saying hello to anyone and everyone I meet. If you don't like puppy kisses, keep your distance!
