DJ was my heart & soul dog & it was fitting his adoption date at HSOG was on Valentine's Day. He had found himself back at HSOG when his previous owner passed away unexpectedly. It was love at first sight when I met him for the first time! He was the most energetic & loving dog, despite his very serious heart condition present when he came to me. I called him my bow-legged, barky badass. He was always by my side and I was proud for him to be a moma's boy. His precious little smile that you see in the photo could melt any heart & he truly lived his life being present in every moment and living it to the fullest. He didn't waste a moment of it or loving me. I miss him every day & he will live on in my heart forever!
