Charlie was my friend’s cat. My friend could no longer take care of Charlie so I offered to adopt her instead of her being taken to a shelter. Charlie was named after the famous viral video ‘Charlie bit me’ from around 2011. Charlie was first thought a male but was really a female so kept the name. Charlie is 13.5 years old today.
