Pet's Story
Mischa, the Pit Bull was adopted from the Harrisburg Area Humane Society. Aspen was found up an embankment concealed in overgrown brush when my headlights picked up her eyes reflecting while I was at a stop sign. She was in a bad way. She was 13 oz and about 4 weeks old. While she had to be quarantined from my other cats and the dangers of the rest of the house because she was so small, I moved into a spare bedroom with her. Mischa was not having being shut out of the room as she was always by my side and slept with me every night. I took a leap of faith and cautiously introduced them. They bonded immediately and Mischa took on the Momma role from that day on. They remained inseparable until Mischa crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years later. Aspen is 8 now.
