Pet's Story
Jelly lost her owner in November 2022 and struggled with the absence of her beloved person. By March 2023, her human sister took her in, along with five other dachshunds in the home, but Jelly felt overwhelmed and spent most of her time in her crate.

In February 2023, I lost my 15-year-old chihuahua, Lola, and was deep in grief, feeling utterly lost and not ready for another pet for at least two years. However, when I met Jelly in May 2023, her sister was seeking a new home for her as she wasn’t adjusting well to her current situation. I decided to foster Jelly to give her a space of her own and help her recover.

In the process, Jelly and I ended up healing each other. I truly believe Lola sent Jelly into my life. I adopted Jelly and we continue to grow together, and every day reveals something new about her. Jelly is currently believed to be around 10 years old.
