Pet's Story
I am honored that this cat after such a heavy loss can learn to love again!
A victim of loosing the owner they had known for the past 6 years, it was either taking him and his brother in, a bonded pair, or separating the two in the adoption system. We could not let that stand! Shy and wary of his new environment, he hid under the recliner we had in their quarantine room, rarely coming out with the exception of food and a quick look. After a month of patience and determination this little man started coming out of his shell, exploring the rest of the house and forging bonds with the other cats. As he has grown more comfortable he has become quite the cuddler, asking for love and pets almost 24/7.
