Your Pet's Story or Bio
This little kitten was found at the side of the road with a broken paw and was brought to the Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch. Unfortunately the paw never healed after having a cast on it for 6 weeks and the whole leg had to be removed. When thinking of a name for this brave little guy we chose Balboa as in Rocky Balboa. As his foster mother I could not believe how well he maneuvered not only on his cast but one leg. The shelter paid for all the medical expenses involved. Eventually Balboa was adopted by a wonderful family. Please vote for Balboa he is so deserving of being in the calendar.
