Sammi was in a cage at the Floyd County Animal Control Quarters in Rome, Ga. I drove to Rome to meet her sister, Delilah, who is also in this contest, with the intention of bringing her home. Then I met Sammi .. a puppy the vet says is part Great Pyrenees. They were so cute that I shot video on my smartphone and sent it home to my husband, Bob Nolan. I couldn't decide which one and Bob said, "Only one, honey." Still couldn't decide. I called Bob again crying and he said, "Whatever makes you happy, dear." So now we have Sammi and Delilah and we are one great big happy forever family.
