I adopted Maya from the Humane Society 2 years ago when she was 4 months old. I had been wanting a dog but since I am a college student my parents had always said no until I found maya. I hadn't planned on getting a dog that day I was just in a bad mood looking to be cheered up by all the dogs at the Humane society. I came home that day with Maya I never knew how that little ball of fur would change my life! She is my best friend, my co captain, and my little pumpkin! Maya has been my light on my darkest of days! I didn't rescue her she rescued me!
