Zoey's story is a hallmark for rehabilitation training. I adopted her in 2011 from a backyard breeder who'd abused her. She was extremely skittish and fearful, trusting no one - TLC and training made a world of difference - she's now she's a hospital therapy dog and the most loving, soulful dog you'll ever meet! She knows over 50 commands and loves agility, but by far her favorite thing to do is sheepherding! She's a natural (classic Australian Shepherd!). Zoey is my demo dog and has helped me rehabilitate and train 100s of dogs. We all think we're the ones rescuing the dog, but in the end our rescue dogs save us! Zoey is my soul dog, my right hand girl; I wouldn't be where I am without her!
