I got Ellie in December 2006 from the Chattanooga Humane Society. Her previous owners had abused her, and she walked with her head down for months because her spirit was just so broken. But, with some TLC, she came out of her shell and is now a happy and loving companion. When I first found Ellie I thought I was saving her, but it turns out that she saved me. She has always been a loving and loyal companion and I wouldn't trade her for the world.
