Entering a Photo

Online entries must be submitted between 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 23, 2024 and 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
We reserve the right to disqualify photos at our discretion
Photos must be of Cats or Dogs only – no people or other pets at this time
More than one cat or dog may be in the photo; however, each individual photo is considered one entry
$10 entry donation per photo submitted
All donations are non-refundable
Must be 18 years old to enter
Must own the right to the photo entered
By submitting a photo, you are giving permission to the Humane Society of Whitley County to publish the photo for Contest Advertising for this year’s contest and potentially future years contests; as well as, other shelter related communication (i.e. Shelter newsletter, Facebook page, etc.)
Participation in the Contest constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these rules
All photos must be original photos or a scan of an original photo (submitted copies taken from already scanned images do not print clearly i.e. copies off of your FaceBook page)

Voting

Voting will begin at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, October 28, 2024 and end at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
Each vote is $1, there is no limit to the number of votes you may cast and are non-refundable

Winner Notification

Potential winners will be notified by email or phone. Potential winners must continue to comply with the contest rules. In the event the potential winner is disqualified for any reason, an alternate winner will be selected based on vote quantity. Prizes will be fulfilled within 8 weeks after the conclusion of the contest. Donations of winnings back to the shelter are greatly appreciated.
