We adopted Myka from the HSSAZ because we wanted to open our home to a kitty friend. Things were rocky at first, and Myka hid under the couch for a solid month, but finally realized that this was her new home and decided to give us a chance. I'm so glad she did. Now Myka won't stop talking to us and looks forward to cuddling on the couch with her canine companion at the end of the day. Every morning Myka wakes us up with purrs and pets and sits in the sink while we get ready. I couldn't have asked for a better kitty friend and am blessed everyday to have found her.
