A little about our pet(s)...
We rescued Peanut at 4 months old. She and her 4 siblings were left in a box on someone's lawn. She was a handful at first with limitless energy, but she grew into the most loving, loyal, & trusting dog we've ever known! She had a personality like no other & kept us laughing! She contracted a brain infection at 1 year old, and after 4 days at the Hillcrest Hospital, they didn't have much hope that she'd ever regain consciousness & recover. When we arrived at the vet the day we would euthanize her, she was awake & immediately recognized us! She had survived against all odds! After 11 1/2 glorious years of life, she passed away on May 8, 2024, and she took a piece of our hearts with her. She is greatly missed and will never be forgotten.
