A little about our pet(s)...
Tacca came to the HSPC as young, pregnant stray in July 2022. She ended up losing her babies, and her mood flipped after that. She didn’t like anyone and was absolutely terrified. After 3 weeks of slow blinks and slow progress, she finally let me pet her for the first time. Eventually she let me hold her and started not being as scared of other people. I was finally able to adopt Tacca on 1/15/23, 3 days before her first birthday. Her transformation since then has been incredible. She’s goofy, loves to play with wand toys, and has learned a few hand signal tricks! Tacca also loves to snuggle and has a favorite blanket for kneading.
