A little about our pet(s)...
My name is Bear. I found myself outside, hungry, and sick. I was beat up by a gang of cats. My arms and paws were swollen and no longer moved. My ears were swollen shut and my eyes were cloudy. I was hurting. One day someone brought food in a box. I found myself in a strange place being checked out. They said "high fever". They took xrays. Gave me shots. And put me back in that box. A bit later I found myself in a room with a window, a chair, a carpeted 'castle' with a perch in front of that window, padded floors and my own bathroom. I also have a 'safe place' to hide if I get scared. I'm getting stronger every day. Sometimes I stumble, and they said my ears are broccoli (cauliflower)? Through my window I see what was and wonder what will be.
