Since 1933, the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County has courageously met the needs of injured, abused and neglected animals and the humans that care for them. We firmly believe that the ethical treatment of animals – and the connections forged between humans and animals – strengthen our community. To this end, we offer services including animal adoption, animal training, low-cost veterinary services and community education.

The Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County does not receive any government assistance or funding from national Humane Society organizations. We are funded by the generosity of animal-lovers like you and we are so very grateful for your support.
