WhiteOne was rescued from the streets in calpella. We believe from sightings and postings he was lost or abandoned for approximately 4 weeks . Many failed attempts to rescue him from east side calpella road to lake Mendocino . A group of us went out in the rain and cold night in the worst of our 22 and 2023 storms to attempt to catch him. Finally just after Christmas he jumped in a truck bed and we were able to get him to safty. He was very thin with deadly heartworm , covered head to toe with ticks and fleas. With the help of Inland Mendocino County Humane Society, Easthill veterinary hospital ,lots of foster love and months of treatment we were able to save this beautiful boy 🩵 He has been adopted by his foster mom who says he’s magical.
