Maribelle was found in the forest near Legget hugely pregnant and brought to the Humane society of inland mendocino. The call went out for a foster in hope to find one in time for her to have her pups outside of the shelter since she was ready to pop! After a few fall throughs , Maribelle landed in the best place possible and had her pups within 72 hours, Once the staff released her to have her puppies where she wanted to have them, in a dirt hole she dug under a tarp. One after the other nine pups were born. Maribelle is the best mother ever. They were moved into the pupping palace and 3 hours later the 10th one was born. All 10 puppies and Mama are thriving at week two, the day I am submitting this photo into the contest.
