Rules

Entry fee is $5 per photo. Participants can enter as many photos as they want but each photo has a separate entry fee. It may be a group or an individual pet. All must be HSHC alumni (also if a group photo everyone in the group must be an alumni)
Photos are to be of pets only, people are not allowed in the photo. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner.
We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
Once entered, the photos become the property of the Humane Society of Harrison County (HSHC) to be used at HSHC's discretion.
Entry period is October 10, 2019 8:00 AM EST through November 1, 2019 9:00 PM EST.
Voting period is October 10, 2019 8:00 AM EST through November 1, 2019 9:00 PM EST.
Each vote is $1. There is no limit to the number of times a person can vote.
The grand prize winners will be the photo with the most votes at the end of the voting period.
The winners will be notified by November 5th. Arrangements will be made at that time for the winners to collect their prizes.
The 12 top vote getters will be featured in a 2020 calendar using the photos submitted for the contest. This is why we ask them to be high resolution. Each winning animal will also be featured for their month as our Facebook Profile Photo and on our website.
The Humane Society of Harrison County reserves the right to remove any pictures for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired.
