Meet the former street thug turned house bug!

Is she the cutest dog in this contest?
No.
Is she the smartest?
Also no.
Is she the sweetest?
Absolutely not.
In fact, she’s quite shady lol looks at you like she owes you money 👀

She DOES have a great smile though!

Brought into the shelter extremely shut down after being found in an alley with kids throwing glass bottles at her.
Bug had BB pellets and scars.
No trust in humans or other dogs.
Absolutely terrified of the simplest things like a collar and leash.

We brought her home as a foster to help her heal with no intention of foster failing, yet here we are!
Helping her, healed us!
Watching her learn to walk on leash without fear, took MONTHS of patient repetition daily.
All the simple things that dogs do, were HUGE milestones for her!
She’s still not a fan of strangers or dogs, other than her emotional support chihuahua, Karen.
We are so proud of this former street thug turned house bug and hope that EVERYONE can experience the joy of rehabilitation of rescues through adoption.
