Henry came to the Humane Society of Hobart in an unlikely litter of 6 pure bred German Rottweilers. He is now in our home with our 4 other rescue animals (Irie the German Shepherd, and rescue cats Mini, Tupac, and Biggie). Henry is a special puppy and has big goals to fill. He will be trained as a balance service dog to help his owner with a balance disorder and joint pain from Lupus. Henry, 4 months old, is currently a typical toddler. Sweet and loving one minute, then running with your belongings in his mouth the other. He loves to play tug, learn new skills, loves walks, snacks, and especially loves ice cubes! Henry is fascinated with guard dog behavior from his German Shepherd sister, but not ready to be that brave. He prefers to stand behind her and give little woofs.
Henry is a heart stealer and has the most expressive eyes. It's very hard to be angry with him when he's naughty. He is 45 pounds of love and sweetness, growing more every day!
