Your Pet's Story
Hound Dog finds home thanks to social media. Ranger's picture was re-shared on facebook and I fell in love with his ears! We drove straight to HSFN and the adoption counselor escorted us in. 24 hours later our Golden Retriever had a Hound Dog brother.

We selected the name Ranger to honor his North Carolina roots. It was clear from the very beginning that he was an outside puppy, and learning all the rules of a home were his first task. He successfully completed beginner basics at our local Dog Training Center. He was awarded a Bachelor's degree in Canine Life & Social Skills class. His enthusiastic execution of behaviors made him the teacher's pet. After completing one last class in agility, and a lot of hard work we are proud to say that Ranger is a GREAT dog!

He loves to swim, eat, run, eat, sleep, eat and play.
