Your Pet's Story
The third time was the charm to find the right dog for me. I went to the Humane Society and looked at a couple of dogs that didn’t seem to be the right fit when one of the adoption counselors suggested I check out Kady. At 3 years old she had been dropped off anonymously at a high-kill shelter in Alabama and came to HSFN by transport. I joke that she seemed a little put out that I disrupted her nap (which she is a big fan of) to meet her, but after a walk around the shelter trail and seeing her confident and sweet demeanor, we clicked. Now 4 years, hundreds of walks, belly rubs and naps later she proves to me every day that I made the right choice.
