Ryder, formerly Scruffy, was flown up to HSFN with a group of dogs rescued in Texas. Our dog, Tootsie, was grieving the loss of our other dog, Chuck who had passed away 3 weeks earlier. I felt it was still too soon to adopt another dog but Tootsie needed a new pal. It was love at first sight for me and Tootsie. Who could resist that face!
