Your Pet's Adoption Story
Apollo came into the shelter February 1, 2015 at only 6 months old. He had a tibial fracture to his left hind leg that needed to be repaired. Knowing that his surgery would need some foster time for healing I offered to take him home so he could heal and get the proper exercise he needed to help regain strength in his leg.
Of course he settled in nicely to our house, with our 3 cats and my 6 year old son. Apollo has such a big heart and sweet personality that after 3 months of fostering we made it official and formally adopted our boy in May of 2015. He has been the most affectionate dog and has been amazing with my son. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
