Happy is an exuberant pup who was named for “Happy Birthday”. After losing a beloved chocolate lab, my Dad requested we “look” at dogs at the shelter as his birthday present. We couldn’t say no to Happy and she can’t be denied.
She lives up to her name in every way. She’s currently recovering from a tendon tear in her foot and still finds a way to hop into the front seat of the car (from the back), sits on me when I come home from work, and bites her dad’s feet outside.
Her crazed and vivacious reactions to people have been coined, “Happy Attacks”. Not a day goes by that she doesn’t bring a smile or laugh to our day. Plus she shares a birthday with my dad who was instrumental in picking her out. Their birthdays are the same day.
Her favorite people food is raw tuna steak which she stealthily snuck off a food prep plate outside. She also loves attending Bark in the Park (mostly for the hot dogs and ice cream)!
