Daffodil aka "Dil" is a rescue from TSBHR. At ten months old, Doc Brown came into our home as a shy (and quite thicc) lil bean. After only 2 days of fostering this love muffin of a hound, we knew we couldn't give him up. His sister Daisy was thrilled with her new wrestling partner, and so the Basset Bouquet was born. But this Dil pickle is anything but sour - he'll lay on your feet while politely begging for belly rubs and stare into your soul and make you wish your boyfriend looked at you like that. He is loving and gentle but will body slam you when you return home (even if it was just to step outside to get the Amazon package). His howl will vibrate your brain and his body weight may crush your organs. His paws are probably the chonkiest you'll ever lay eyes on. He is abnormally large but certainly has the heart to match. Dil is a Humane Society Ambassador and loves interacting with kids and getting all the free pets (the treats afterwards ain't so bad either). You know what they say: "You can't buy happiness... but you can adopt it."
